Day 21: The Best Medium of Art

Pictures.
The best thing they do is capture memories.
In those memories were people;
In those people were emotions.
They told a story, painted a scene,
Wrote history and created dreams.

Pictures.
I'd like to think they tell a lot about a personality,
Her thoughts and the situations that accompany.
Back when she was in love;
Now when she found her truth.
Being herself and letting loose.

Pictures.
They allow us to share.
Look, that was when I had bangs!
And everyone asked me why I did it.
Look, it was windy in Italy,
I couldn't help but say "Take one of me!"

Pictures.
I like taking them and being in them.
Too bad I've to sleep now,
Though it was an interesting attempt.
I did use to like doing this,
But it was never really my thang.

Pictures.
I shan't use one to show you
How blessed we really are.
Tonight, many go to sleep needing
More than just a comforting hug.
Remember, every dollar counts.
