I'm NOT going to start the 30-day Blogging Challenge all over again! So the challenge for me is to just blog each day whilst waiting for the rest of them to catch up - that's 14 days of blogging. Such a shame I just missed the half-way mark by 1 day. I didn't notice that! I even have a draft of Day 15, actually. Must be too busy studying la, which finally paid off - by God's grace :)

Yesterday was my beloved, one and only, everyone-says-he's-cute brother's birthday. Calvin's 15 now! If you haven't wished him happy birthday, please do it now: click for his profile! We went for dinner at one of my favourite places to go with parents, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Ah, I remember the first taste of their signature Dumb Luck Coconut Shrimp and Baby Back Ribs I had when I was in San Francisco itself. Heaven!
So Calvin invited two of his privileged friends to dine with him and the family: Shuya, the proud-to-be-Japanese boy, and Kah Chong, the dude who won the class debate about why Hitler isn't to blame for starting WWII. Intelligent friends he has; we talked a lot about WWII and Shuya told us about why Japan lost the war in style. "No one else lost by atom bomb, right!". True that.
We finished dinner and left for home without a bootay shaking birthday episode. But we didn't go without the cake, of course. Luxurious ice cream cake of rich vanilla filling coated with smooth Belgian chocolate. Yumz! Switch off the lights, sing song, blow candle, cut cake, snap snap snap pictures! Then introduced the boys to Monopoly Deal, which they had much fun with. Smart boys, playing strategy on their first round! I remember my first round, I lost terribly.
