You cannot lay up for a rainy day if you are trusting Jesus Christ.
Jesus said, "Let not your heart be troubled" (John 14:1).
God will not keep your heart from being troubled. It is a command - "Let not...".
Haul yourself up a hundred and one times a day in order to do it, until you get into the habit of putting God first and calculating with Him in view.

So I haven't started reading books yet; it was one of the good habits I wanted to pick up at the beginning of the semester. I suppose I didn't properly inform myself by not sticking a big fat note in front of me as a reminder.
The excerpt above was a post I wrote last month: click! It was when He said to me, "Chris, you either up your game or you lose out", and it was the season where I couldn't deny His Voice anymore. I am thankful to say that by God's grace, I did up my game. I am still be at the start of a new walk and I know I still need to continue pursuing bigger goals.
Going to start reading Nehemiah, okay? Okay? Okay. Okay! OK.
